Campeche Wax is used in various ceremonial rituals and folk arts throughout Latin America.  It is most often seen used within yarn or bead paintings by the Huichol people.   They layer the small intricate beads on the campeche wax  that coats the surface of their pieces.  The final result is a beautiful handcrafted piece of art that is covered with bright colored beads.
